Dr Katherine Maxwell — Climate and Sustainability Leader, Author and Advisor
Dr Katherine Maxwell advises cities, governments and organisations on decarbonisation, climate resilience and sustainable finance. Over fifteen years, she has held senior roles at Arup, C40 Cities, Sweco and WSP, shaping climate strategy for municipalities across Europe and the Global South. She holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where she is a Visiting Fellow at Kellogg College, and lectures on urban sustainability at Yale University’s Hixon Center. She is the author of Governance Networks for Sustainable Cities (Routledge, 2023), with a second book, Collaborative Governance within Global Cities, forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
